Saint Tropez’s Diet
Review
Saint
Tropez's Diet Review -
Throughhis many
visits to the exotic, sensual playground
of Saint-Tropez,
Apostolos Pappas, Ph.D., was inspired to develop The
Saint-Tropez Diet. A complete eight-week meal plan
with delicious and easy-to-make French dishes from
Marie-Annick Courtier and chefs from some of the most
celebrated restaurants on the Cote d’Azur.
In The Saint-Tropez Diet, Dr. Pappas reveals the four simple
principles to unlock your fat-burning receptors so that you can
lose weight quickly, fight chronic diseases, and erase years of
premature aging. Each guiding you through one or a few
weeks at a time, with different calorie restrictions, including
and removing different foods
and evolving exercise commitments.
Omega-3 fatty acids are a key component to the Saint-Tropez
Diet. Paired with vitamin A-rich foods you'll be on the fast
track to healthy weight loss. You'll indulge in flavorful
foods and try to incorporate as many fresh, organic options as
possible. T he only off-limit foods are bread and pasta.
Red meat and dairy are limited. The cost of the book is
the only expense.
What we like about this
plan The plan
boosts energy, full of omega-3 fatty acids, The plan has plenty
of whole foods. The book has wonderful recipes to try
that taste delicious. They recommend exercises (in phase four),
and wine is acceptable on this plan.
What we dislike about
this plan
The plan can become strict and tie is needed to prepare the
meals. Also the average day contains about 1450
calories. For active man or women this can set someone up
for a cheat. Also, if you can not live without bread and
pasta, this plan is not for you.
How Healthy Is This
Plan?The rules of the
plan are very healthy. Eat food rich in omega-3
fatty acids, food rich in vitamin A, eat a lot of fruits and
veggies and reduced your intake of Omega 6 and processed
foods. The concern lies in the amount of calories in the
plan. Is it enough to keep your body going and be enough
to discourage binge eating?
Here is the Bottom Line If for eight weeks you wish to
transform yourself to become a French Rivera sun drenched
person, give it a whirl. The calorie consumption is a little
low, and for highly active people this could be a
problem. The book is simple to understand, and provides
step-by-step guidance for each phase of the diet. After the
eight weeks, adapt a plan that can keep you healthy for the
post eight weeks.
