LA Weight Loss Center Review

Strip that fatLA Weight Loss Center Review - The LA Weight Loss plan, a center-based program, promises to help you shed two pounds a week, using a system of tailored diet plans and one-on-one counseling.  After filling out a personal questionnaire meant to help you construct a personalized program, you're then instructed on what to eat and how to generate healthy meals using store-bought foods (although they also recommend to clients to buy their own personal line of nutritional supplements).

S
upport, smart eating and exercise all contribute to the success of LA Weight Loss clients.  You'll learn to eat appropriate portions, as well as enjoy a diet rich in nutrients, a balanced approach that does not focus entirely on one group of food or completely remove another. Once signed up, you are expected to visit one of their weight-loss centers three times a week for an in-person check-up with a counselor.

LA Weight Loss has a three-stage approach: The first, their "jumpstart program," places you on a high-protein plan for several days.  After that, you'll restrict your caloric intake to between 1,100 and 1,800 calories daily, depending on your weight-loss goal.  The second stage is a six-week period that gradually lets you add more calories.  The final stage reintroduces previously banned foods (such as sweets), but requires visits with a counselor on a regular basis.

What we like about this plan
You will eat well balanced.  The plan has a comprehensive easy to navigate website.  The plan teaches you how to eat in a restaurant. It is vegetarian supportive.  Alcohol is permitted.  The personalized counseling can give additional encouragement.

What we dislike about this plan  The cost of this plan is expensive.  In addition, the cost varies from center to center.  The fitness requirements are none. They push there LA Lite bars and shakes, while the councilors make commission on them.

How Healthy Is this plan?  LA Weight Loss approach to eating more protein, fruits and vegetables and less fat  is very similar to what many nutritionists already recommend.  However, if you're asked to use a plan that limits your caloric intake below 1,500 calories a day, you could miss out on certain key nutrients. Although most of the nutritional advice they stress is sound, basic, advice (such as eating smaller portions, drinking plenty of water, watching your salt intake, adding more fruits and vegetables),  All of this advise comes with an expensive price tag.

Here’s the Bottom Line  The cost of LA Weight Loss seems totally unreasonable compared to sensible alternatives, unless the cost will keep you motivated to stick to it.  LA Weight Loss focuses aggressively on selling L.A. Lites nutrition bars, in addition to their supplements.  According to the center, the bars and supplements are required purchases if guarantees of success are to take effect.  Discounts are taken on the bars if long-term supplies are purchased, but that amounts to considerable starter-up costs as much as $1000+. (Pay attention to the fine print).

Most personal counselors are not independently trained social workers, but former clients of LA Weight Loss and are paid commissions on the products they sell, which present a conflict of interests.  Based on reviews there are various opinions between individual centers and counselors.  Some have properly trained counselors and lower pressure sales environments, while others are the
opposite.
